Dark, thin head, decent sugars, light chocolate, slight alcohol. It's a solid stout from Single Hill.

12 oz can.Pours a very dark brown with light head. Aromas of dry dark chocolate, cinnamon, subtle whisky barrel and roasted malts. Flavors follow same with more emphasis on cinnamon plus vanilla. Subtle hot pepper warmth to finish. Very good

12 oz can poured, picked up at Chuck's Seward Park. One of my favorite series of brews in my local. Dark and dense cola black. Big cinnamon and cocoa nose, with the slightest hint of barrel. Really a treat of a barrel aged stout. So many spices and dark chocolate flavors, very mildly sweet. Layered flavors kind of mask the barrel here, but it's there. Silky smooth taste with the spices giving just the slightest bite that gets buried. Ideal dessert beer. Love this.

12 oz. can, pours black with a medium brown head. Nose is rich and decadent, with a delightful mix of cinnamon, vanilla and cocoa upfront, a tiny hint of chilis, and maybe a touch of barrel. Flavour is very deep and yet cohesive, with a wonderful expression of cinnamon upfront that is tempted by the cocoa and vanilla, accentuated with a touch of chili spice, and rounded a bit by the barrels. Soft carbonation that brings out the deep flavour integration very well. Excellent.
