Making no wrong turns, this New York born beer brewed in collaboration with Chelsea Brewing Company, hails a complex blend of citrus fruit flavours.

Checker Cab is a bright pale golden ale with a straw-yellow hue. A blend of the finest hops give Checker Cab its distinctive crisp, dry finish with prominent yet delicate hop flavour and aroma.

Malt: English Ple Ale
Hops: Tettnanger, Northern Brewer, Magnum

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Everards / Chelsea Brewing Company Checker Cab ].Clear medium yellow orange color with a small to average, open and frothy - fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, cookie, caramel, biscuit malt, light butterscotch. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to long duration, sweet malt, cookie - biscuit malt, light caramel. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140814]

Cask at the Church, Birmingham. Pours light gold with a medium head. Aroma is eggy straw. Taste has light straw throughout.

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity and light citrusy hoppy. Bitter and light fruity hoppy into the finish.

Cask @ Leggers, Dewsbury. Golden-blonde with a creamy head. Looks good and has a malt-hop aroma and taste.

Sampled @ GBBF day 3. Slightly hazy yellow golden color, small white head. Smell and taste lightly malts, lightly hops, a bit old hops, lightly grainy and hayish. Average body and carbonation.
