Flaska. Mycket bränt socker. Marshmallows. Grädde. Kakao. Även det bittra från kakaon. Mjuk munkänsla. Lite för sött men det borde jag förstått. Bra för stilen.

Bottle.
A- Black color, black liquid, brown head.
A- Coconut, cocoa.
F- Coconut, chocolate, rum, booze, sweet.
P- Medium body, thick texture, average carbonation, boozy finish.
O- Loads of coconut and a fair amout of booze from the rum. Lots of decadent chocolate and a bit sweet. This was pretty nice although the flavors were in your face.

Dark brown. Smells like salmiakki, molasses. There's some roast on the palate, but also a whack of alcohol. Not as much coconut or whatever else they mean by "island". Decent base, but the adjuncts aren't making the right impression.

Toasted coconut, and lot of rum barrel, quite soapy with a lot of molasses. Taste is along the same lines. On of those NOT GOOD examples of rum barrel aged products.

(Tap) clear, bright, very dark brown colour with a small brown head; aroma of coconut, balanced flavour with a long, light bitter finish; somewhat thick palate

On tap at Belmont Station. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma has rum, wood, and light roast. Flavour has rum, coconut, and dark chocolate. Rum has minimal harshness and is very well-incorporated into the beer. Not particularly complex.

On tap at Belmont Station Bier Cafe, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is rich, with tons of rum barrels, a little lactose, and light roast. Flavour is rich, tasting like a pina colada stout — with tons of rum and coconut, and a little lactose. Very tropical. Surprisingly tasteful; not brutal at all, unlike some rum BA beers. Excellent.

Pours a pitch black hue with a tan head. Rich sweet nose. The flavor is big initial coconut, roast, slick dark fruit. Not a ton of rum. This is damn good.
