473 ml can. Pours a bright amber with moderate head. Aromas of grass, pine, grapefruit, a bit of dirt and toasty malts. Flavors of pine and grapefruit with dry toasty malts. Bitter finish. OK.

Dullish pale, thick head. Herbaceous hop with slight pine and grapefruit. Medium pale malt. A bit buttery up front, fairly bitter, decent malt. But I thought Saltspring got past their butter problem. Apparently not.

473mL can, pours a lightly hazy golden with a medium white head. Aroma has a herbaceous hop character, grassiness, and a light pine. Flavour is fairly bright, with herbal hops, light spicy hops, a touch of pine, and plenty of grassiness on the finish. Light malt backbone, with a spicy, grass, herbal finish. Too grassy and herbaceous, almost vegetal, but the brightness and crispness are nice. Decent.

On tap at brewery. Pours clear golden. Aroma has spruce and grassy hops. Flavour is pine and resin; a bit grassy. Decent, but could stand to be more aggressive.

Poured from the tap. Clear bright yellow gold with small white head. Citrus hops, quite clean, could ramp up the hops a little, but it’s the best of the two flights I tried.
