16oz @ 🏑 while waiting Andriy and Kyrylo to come (show must go on!)
Aroma: nice farmhouse notes with a bit of spruce notes.
Taste: along the same lines, kinda sweet and fruity.
Overall: interesting.

473 ml can. Pours a dull amber with little head. Aromas of grape skins, citrus, stoned fruit, a bit of Belgian yeast and soft toasty malts. Flavors follow same with gooseberry tartnesss. Spruce tips coming in Kate after things warm up. Seems more a kettle sour than any type of saison.

Hazy, pale, tart, some funk…mushroomy, then the spruce kicks in. Spruce and tartness throught the finish. Balanced, the gentler acidity makes this a beer more drinkable than the Ile Sauvage one.

Bottle sample at Farmhouse Fest 2024 in Vancouver. Cloudy golden color, small white head. Aroma of lightly peppery funk. Big spruce in the flavor, oily mouthfeel. Very tasty.

Flight at brewery. Pours clear yellow. Aroma is floral with notes of oak, bugs, and saison yeast. Flavour has solid spicy saison yeast with bugs, spruce, and some buttery oak. Very nice.

473mL can, pours a cloudy golden with a small white head. Nose has some bugs, rustic saison yeast, and toasted grains β€” low-level spruce tips. Flavour has a nice complex wild yeast character, some rustic notes, and a touch of woody fruitiness from the spruce. Very well-constructed and quite tasty.
