After barrel-aging in oak for 2 years, it developed an earthy, Lambic-like character, with notes of lemon, a restrained sweet flavour and a tart finish.

Poured from 650mL bottle shared with Chris M in Halifax. Chill hazed golden yellow with small white head. Funk and barnyard with light tart sourness. Actually quite nice.

Bottle pour at brewery. Pours cloudy yellow with thin white head. Aroma is tart with rustic yeast, bugs, grass. Flavour has similar profile, prominent buttery oak.

Pale, no head. Sort of a chill haze. There’s some ropey sort of pedio on the nose with a but of a leathery accent. On the palate, medium acidity, a little sweetness, slightly leathery. Ends up being not bad - no sign of the ropeyness on the palate.

750mL bottle, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of barnyard funk, some citrus, light acidity and the slightest of phenols. Flavour has lots of expressive barnyard funk, light band-aid, citrus, and lots of puckering acidity. Quite puckering and acidic, but also funky as hell, with aggressive carb. Get rid of those low-level phenols and you'd have something excellent. As is, good stuff.
