On tap at the brewery. Dark chestnut brown with off white head. Lots of caramel, toffee, some dried fruit, bourbon, brown sugar. Full bodied. Medium sweetness. Nice.

On tap. Pours a dark brown with light head. Aromas of bourbon, brown sugar, caramel and toasted malts. Flavors follow same with some grass, dry dark fruit and rougher malts. Old style Barley Wine. Some alcohol, but not showing 16%. Probably needs some aging.

(Tap) hazy, bright golden amber color with a small cream colored head; aroma of honey, compote, caramel; rich, balanced flavor with a long, light bitter sweet finish

16 oz. can, pours a deep dark amber with a small beige bead. Aroma is rich, with intense caramel, dark dried fruits, toffee, and brown sugar. Flavour is very rich, with lots of dark dried fruits, lots of bourbon, booze, and brown sugar. A bit too boozy but has a nice complexity. Good.

473mL can. Pours clear brown with minimal head. Aroma has light brown sugar, white rum. Flavour has some toasted malt, coffee, and white rum. Good base beer, does well with booze, but could be better with better rum.

Pale, amber, no head. So some figs, dates and a bit of honey. A bit of woody accents, definitely alcohol, a touch of phenols. But a fair bit of sugar, too. I'd prefer more malt character, but it's got some good character.

Poured from 473mL can. Clear amber brown with almost no white head. Toffee and booziness, a bit over the top and not super dialed in, but decent.

Light bodied but packs a lot of prunes and fig flavors. Delish!
