A nice tartness, definitely not a saison. It is way too sour, but a good tasty beer. beertown toronto

Hazy, light tan, medium head. On the nose, has a touch of plasticy phenol to the yeast, just vague brett. The brett is more pronounced on the palate, but with dry, herbal hops and a fair bit of wood. Just a touch of vinous character, and the stone fruits. All told, this comes across the palate much better than the aroma indicated, and the kiss of peach/apricot sweetness in the finish is nice, too. Maybe a little too fizzy, but nice beer.

500mL bottle, pours a cloudy orange with huge white head. Aroma brings out lots of bretty funk, saison yeast, light peaches and apricots, and a hint of white wine. Flavour is quite complex, with brett, saison yeast, subdued tart apricots and peaches, and a little white wine. Aggressive, but fitting carbonation, with an oaky, crisp finish. Excellent.
