Creamy off white head on an unclear brown coloured body. Malt, toffee & caramel aroma. Medium bodied, soft with a clean back. Toffee, liquorice, malt & raisin tastes with a lightly hopped bitter finish. Oh that's a belter.

Bottle from The Shops At Dartington. Appearance - amber to copper. Generous fluffy head. Nose - dried fruit and quite cakey. Taste - more cake, dried orange. Light sweet spice. Palate - close to medium bodied, rich and lightly sweet middle. Dry, fruity finish. Overall - enjoyed this a lot!

500ml bottle conditioned; BB 3rd Nov 2018, obtained from The Cheese larder, South Molton, Devon. Drank at my brothers house on 19th July 2018. Amber bodied, full head of beige bubbles. Malty base to this caramel flavoured brew, light fruity notes with a mild citrus leaning supplement the malty molasses, but this is really a semi-sweet caramel based beer; my sweet tooth really took to it.

Fra cask på Union Rooms, Plymouth 24 Sep 16. Mahognyfarget. Middels høyt tett skum som varer. Lett maltaroma. Silkemyk munnfølelse. Smaken behagelig maltig med tilløp til krydder. Lett bitter. Avslutter svakt syrlig. Innholdsrik & god.

Half pint, cask at JDW’s Union Rooms. Good looking with a creamy, fawn coloured head to a deep dark brown body. Spotty lacing. Dark dough and herbal hops on the nose. Caramel flavours joined by dough and mid-sweet citrus. Leafy hops towards the ending. Medium bodied. Went well with the English breakfast (Plymouth 24.09.2016).
