On tap at Oakland Arbor. Aroma is very malt forward with nice notes of biscuit, toasted bread, graham crackers and hints of caramel. Hints of alcohol and woody, herbal hop notes. Pours a very clear, golden orange, with a medium sized, thick, pillowy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers throughout. Flavor is slightly sweet with fairly strong malt notes of biscuit, toasted bread and graham crackers. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Light grassy, woody hop notes. Mouthfeel is medium light bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid lager with a really nice malt profile. Perhaps a bit more bitter than I was hoping for, but not bad at all. Really nice, complex malt character. Alcohol is well hidden and fairly easy drinking.
