Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 4 | Overall - 4.5

Pint can from Woodman's Appleton, 10/29/22. Black, large brown head, good retention. Gushed a little bit. Aroma of sweet maple and vanilla.... and the glass is two feet away. Other aroma notes of marshmallow, roast, cinnamon, hint of smoke. Aroma is sickly sweet. I gagged. Taste is roast, cinnamon, vanilla, coffee. Some bitterness but taste is also sickly sweet and cloying. Full bodied. Not sure I'll be able to finish this.

Appearance - 10 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 8 | Overall - 6.5

Can. Pours opaque black with a small brown head and decent lacing. Aroma is fudge, anise, cinnamon, a bit weird. Flavor is medium sweet, light plus bitter, a bit odd vanilla and cinnamon notes, but also something earthy and not overly complementary. Fullish body. Not one of the better efforts from TG.
