CBC queue rate. Light haze on this orange - gold beer, a few pale cream colour bubbles. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Dried fruits and mild spice. Touch of something brandyish. Dry finish. Passable.

bottle. clear brown to yellow, smooth yellow head. malty aroma, sweet notes. flavor is malts and caramel, slightly toasted, faint herbal bitter hoopy balance. malty and quite caramelly classic english style flavor, but a little bit too sweet for my taste, Flavor wise, resembles some of the sweet macro danish strong beers.

Bottle 50 cl. Pours an almost clear deep golden with a fizzy, dissipating off-white head. Sweet malty nose, caramel. Rich, malty body, again heavy on the caramels. Hardly any bitterness. Harmless. 220615

Bottle. A hazy amber colored beer with a minimal sized light beige head. The aroma is quite roasted, with some bread and coffee and a touch of alcohol. It’s full bodied and faintly warming, with a touch of alcohol warmth. Roasted malts, bread, coffee and some dark dried fruits. A bitter touch in the back. Lasting mostly roasted finish with a hint of well done bread crust. Not a favorite of mine this one, especially the alcohol pulls down the score, but it’s a decent one anyway. 150515

Bottle. Pours clear amber with airy off-white head. Clear aroma of malt and bread, with estery and hoppy touches. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, with notes of hops and touches of yeast and metal. Bitter and rough aftertaste with notes of fruit. Okay, a little boozy, but what has it got to do with hunting?
