Har varit med oss nästan lika länge som vår pale ale. Det är en röd india pale ale som drar åt det amerikanska hållet. Något fylligare maltprofil än klassiska amerikanska ipor. Besk öl med friska toner av citruscest. Torrhumlad, vilket ger lite extra doft och arom. Ofiltrerad och opastöriserad.

(Draught at Stockholm Beer & Whisky Festival, 8 Oct 2022) Reddish amber colour with foamy, off-white head. Malty, hoppy nose with notes of caramel, grapefruit and pine needles. Malty, hoppy taste with caramel, toast, pine needles, resin, grapefruit and a balanced citric/piney bitterness. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well balanced IPA, with a good malt profile to match the hops. Nice one.

Bottle. Unclear deep reddish/orange body with a medium sized off-white head. Aroma has some fruity hops, but mostly malt and also a hint of butterscotch. Flavor is sweet malt, caramel, some fruity bitterness and a non-offensive hint of butterscotch. Medium body and sweet caramel malt and bitter aftertaste. Noting extraordinary but not bad either.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy amber copper color with an off-white head. Has a fruity malty spicy citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty spicy hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy bitter spicy finish.

Bottle 330ml. @ home. [ As Sälens Fjäll RIPA ].[ Trade by omhper ]. ABV: 6.3%. Clear medium to dark yellow orange color with a average to large, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate to light light heavy malty, caramel, fruity malt, light sweet malt, moderate to light light heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, fruity hops, dried fruit. Flavor is moderate to light heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, fruity hops, orange, wanrm friut - malt, dry, initial strawberries. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20150426]
