Crystal malt? And not an American hop in sight? You’d better believe it! As beer making in some quarters gets evermore ridiculous ingredient-wise, this is a return to our roots and about as traditionally English as we can make it. Good, old-fashioned honest best bitter – an almost novel concept.

Cask. A golden beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, spices, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, flowers, and straw, leading to a bitter finish.

Cask@Charlies Bar, Copenhagen - golden pour with white head. Fruity and malty with some citrus fruit, bready light roasted malts, some caramel, medium hoppy bitter finish. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cask at Christian Firtal. Golden with a lasting white head. Grassy, fruity, floral and earthy aroma. Sweetish fruity flavour with bready malt. Grassy notes and a great bitterness in the finish.
