Fra fat på bryggeripuben 22 Jul 15. Mørk amber. Filmskum som etterlater litt lacing. Forsiktig kaffearoma. Smaken litt kaffe. Bra.

Bottle. A clear, deep amber colored beer topped by a dense, light beige head leaving lacings. Lots of coffee on the nose, very smooth coffee, with some pine cones and tropical fruits. Lovely roasted maltyness and some dark chocolate in the far back. There’s a soft bitterness in the flavor, of the hoppy kind, with lots of delicious coffee and some roasted malts. Lasting finisih with lots of coffee and a lovely citrusy, piney touch. Sure a delicious one, blends the beer and coffee in a really wonderful way. 150807

Almost clear deep copper color with a fine off white head. Really rich and nice coffee aroma. Medium (+) body and a fine carbonation. Fine balance between sweetness and bitterness. Strong coffee flavor without being over the top. Also toffee and mild fruity. Tasty nice ale.

500ml bottle, batch 087, from Vinmonopolet Langnes. Persistent, frothy off-white head partially remaining over a clear amber coloured body. Hazy last pour. Spotty lacework. Roasted coffee beans on the nose. Coffee driven taste as well with a backdrop of brown malts and leafy hops towards the ending. Medium bodied. A smooth, clean, and nice coffee drink (Tromsø 15.05.2015).

On tap at Gronnerlkka, pours a hazy amber orange with a small white head. Nose brings out coffee beans upfront - very pleasant. Flavour reveals smooths espresso beans and light bready fruitiness. Nice coffee flavours. Very good.

Flaske fra polets nettbutikk: dyp ravfarget med offwhite skum som varer. Både aroma og smak gir meg bæraktig maltsødme kombinert med lysbrent kaffe. Lett bitterhet i ettersmaken. Halvtørr. Hva vil den være - amber ale, red ale eller porter? Uansett er den for meg en skuffende ufokusert og intetsigende øl.
