Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at Pigs Ear 2018. Pours rich, dark brown with a frothy, beige head. This is really solid overall, has some nice lightly chewy chocolate, baking cocoa, ashy roast, some leathery dark fruits, subtle accents of burnt spices, earth. Medium bodied, with fine carbonation and velvety texture. Light warmth in the finish, more rounded cocoa character. Impressive.

Bottle@Railway, Streatham, London (buy one get one free Thursday) - Black pour with nice tanned head. Roasted and sweet malty with rich chocolate notes, some caramel and toffee sweetness, then back into some dark earthy malt roast, medium silky body, touch of spice into the dark malty close.
