1st August 2014
Crispin, Wokingham. Cask. Lightly hazy amber beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and a little dry. Mild fine carbonation. Sweetish malts with touches of toffee and cream. Mild banana ester. Little dried fruits, bitterness and floralness. LIght dry finish. Not bad, quite flavoursome.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Hogs Back British Endeavour ].Clear medium amber yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, sweet malt, nutty notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sweet malt, cookie - biscuit malt. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140813]

From cask. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is light fruity, toasted malty. Mild fruity, subdued sweetness. Bitter and light fruity. Medium dry and fruity finish.

Sampled @ GBBF day 2. Clear orange golden color, small off-white head. Not a lot of aroma. Taste lightly malts, lightly fruity, lightly sweetish. Average body and carbonation.

Cask at the Crispin, Wokingham, 01/08/14. Lightly hazed golden amber with a moderate off white top. Nose is fruity, raisens, caramel, light spice, banana chews. Taste comprises banoffee pie, light spice, straw, earthy, nana chews. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterness. Ok fruity bitter,
