650mL bottle. Pours murky brown with a pretty small beige head. Brown sugar, dark fruits, blackberries, and bourbon on the nose. Flavour has raisins, dried fruits, brown sugar, blackberries, and bourbon. Mouthfeel is pretty sticky. Pretty solid.

[notes] Poured from bottle @ FHF 2023 (Aug 12, 2023). Dark brown with small light beige head. Dark fruit, light molasses, decent.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark radish brown with little head. Aromas of sweet caramel, nougat, fruity bourbon, and Brady malts. Flavors of dark fruit, sticky sweet berries, fruity brandy, raisins, and also stuff doughy malts. Sweet and sticky. Very good.

Bottle pour at Farmhouse Fest 2023, pours a deep dark dirty brown with a small beige head. Aroma is harsh, with lots of red fruits, bourbon, booze, and dark sugars — wow, that's chaotic. Flavour is chaotic and harsh, with tons of perfume, booze, caramel, and sugars. Harsh, chaotic and lacking integration. That's pretty lame.

A taster shared with Josh, Matt, Phill, and Ryan during FHF WITH priceless Rachel's help (got it back!) in organizing all the mess with glasses. Last drink to clear out the glass, hehe. Appearance: almost clear copper. Aroma: American oak, sweet. Taste: same, lots of caramel and oak. Overall: very nice.

The pour is quite murky, lending the beer a dull pale brown appearance. Thin head. This just looks like it's going to be raisiny. Rich aroma is raisins, figs, peach, toffee and alcohol. Soft body. Deep fruitiness, again dates and raisins, an impression of that blackberry, lots of syrup, sticky and cut only by alcohol in the finish. Like English style and American strength.
