Purplish. No head. Slight haze. Vinous, nice juicy acidity, fresh and bright. This is good stuff.

750 ml @ Matt's new place. Appearance: nice hazy purple with a bit of rose-ish head. Aroma: a mix of grape must and cherries (if I wouldn't know it's a grape beer, I would say it's more like a cherry beer), nice funk, barrel-added complexity. Taste: along the same lines, lots of grapes notes, some grapes acidity, a bit bubbly. Overall: nice one.

Poured from 750mL bottle. Hazed dark red with small pink-ish white head. Some nice grape must, buggy, quite nice.

750mL bottle, pours a hazy deep dark reddish amber with a medium faded pink head. Aroma brings out red wine grape must, wild bugs, a touch of oak, and rustic notes. Flavour is very grape-forward, with some grape juice, red wine grape must, a touch of bugs, and gentle oaky tannins. A bit too much grape juice character, but there's a nice buggy, musty grape skin character. Very good.
