Lavender Hill is a beer inspired by the local lavender fields which grew in Battersea. We have taken a Lavender Honey to brew with a selection of British and French hops to create this delightful honey beer.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 24/6/2016. Golden in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Straight down the middle pale ale, with some stone fruits, a touch of citrus and moderately bitter finish. Good.

Cask at the King and Castle, Tourist Town Zentrum, 27/08/15. Pale golden blonde with a moderately appointed off white covering. Nose is pale malt, light bread, faint citric leanings. Taste comprises straw, lemon rind, soft bread, light floral notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a whisper of bitterness. So so Golde.

Cask (handpump) @ The Bree Louise, 69 Coburg Street, Euston, London, England NW1 2HH. [ As Sambrooks Lavender Hill ].Clear medium amber orange color with a average to large, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, flowers, light earthy, lavender notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a long duration, sharp flowers - earthy, flowers, quit bitter. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. Cask at the Barton Arms; clear amber pour with a thin white head, fruit and malt aroma, taste is floral with fruit, sweet toffee malt.

Cask@The Railway, Streatham, London (12/08/2014) - pours gold with a white head. Prominent and yet delicate floral and herbal hoppy aroma and taste, grassy, some citrus fruity notes, light toasty malts. Pretty good and refreshing brew.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, lots of straw, light toast. Light bitter flavour, sweet malts. Low carbonation. Quite crisp, light sweet malty finish, straw.

Cask - Grains and biscuit malts. Clear gold with a rich white head. Light biscuit and grains with a touch go bitterness in the finish. Easy drinking and nice.

Cask at The Haymarket. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of honey, light floral hops. Taste is more of the same. OK.

Pint at Henry Addingdon canary i cwharf. Hazed orange coloured pour with a creamy off white head. Aroma is grainy, caraway seeds, spices and English yeast. Flavour is lightly perfumed with some floral and caraway. Finish is bitty grainy tanin. Palate is grainy semi creamy. Pretty dull.
