Our American style IPA is fittingly strong and brash, unleashing full-on flavour. Washington native hops Willamette and Simcoe take centre stage to deliver a symphony of spicy floral bitterness, supported by a sweet malty backbone.

Hand pulled half pint in the Thomas Botfield on Sunday 8th March 2026. Didn't take to this at all, might have been too long since it was broached. Clear and clean golden body, white head that left some lacing as the beer level fell. The citrusy hops left a floral aftertaste and the malt content didn't add much to the flavours. Just the wrong beer at the wrong time for me. Scored kindly!

Cask at Thomas Leaper, Derby. Pours a hazy, slow to settle, bitter brown with minimal off-white head and good lacing. Autumn fruits and malts in the aroma. In the mouth, the immediate sensation is of how sweet and watery it is. There are some autumn fruits, butter and apricots. After a while, floral hops and traces of ginger start to appear. The finish is surprisingly dry and spicy. It’s a bit of a strange IPA – may take some getting used to.

Cask, half-pint, shared with Finn at Maypole. Clear golden body, firm white head blanketing the glass. Peaches and citrus on the nose, inviting. Taste of orange and apricot, creamy malts, mid-sweet, behind. Moments of fruity bitterness to the ending. Satisfying. (Cambridge 14.11.2021).
