Shared bottle at RB/HD on board Fridtjofen 14.04.15. Very dark brown. Almost no head. Aroma of nectarins and a rag that has been left wet for a few days after cleaning the floor. Taste is better, with tropical fruits. Little carbonation.

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma is sweet, malty, roasted malty, yeasty and chocolate. Flavor is quite sweet and moderate bitter. Sweet and moderate bitter finish. Something is wrong here. 110415

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours hazy dark coffee brown with small, bubbly off-white head. Clear aroma of caramel malt and fruit, with notes of caramel and yeast. Bitetr, roasty and coffeelike flavour, with hoppy notes and touches of malt and liquorice. Bitter and roasty aftertaste. Nearly no carbonation. Quite uninspiring.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Thompson. Opaque very dark brown to black color, virtually no head. Smell and taste malts, a sourish hint, like it’s wine barrel aged. You know what, I’m totally done with seriously describing this shit. I really really dislike it. How on earth is this a black IPA?

5 Kay, 7.5 Kay, 10 Kay Tasting. Almost clear dark amber beer, a few pale tan bubbles don’t make a head. Light palate, semi dry and just modest carbonation. Mild dark malts with very mild roast. Mellow pine hops and hop spice turning to some harsh bitterness. Light dry finish. Hides the abv well but should really be delivering more for it’s abv.

Bottle split at the 5/7.5/10K, thanks to Kenneth, 30/12/14. This CDA was boxed !!! Mahogany brown with a moderate light tan covering. Nose is pine, loqourice, tangy red berries, dark malt, light spice. Taste comprises earthy hops, pine, scorched earth, light grapefruit trace, bitter orange. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Drinks well below the ABV but ultimately doesn’t deliver and carries limited depth.
