Bottle thanks to Kenny. It pours deep brown with a small light tan head. The nose is bitter, earthy, rich roast, orange rind, dark chocolate and grapefruit. The taste is bitter-sweet, punchy alcohol, charred wood, tar, cocoa, roasted malt, burnt caramel and toast with a dry, warming finish. Medium+body and fine carbonation. Pretty hot and punchy. Not too bad, but rather heavy duty.

Bottle shared in London - thanks to Kenwold. Pours clear brown with a bubbly tan head. Odd nose, some motor oil, muddled malts. Medium sweet flavor, pretty oily, with syrupy pine, vague chocolate. Medium bodied with soft to fine carbonation. Oily finish, some pure alcohol, burnt pine, leaves. So so.
