Thiolised Single Hop DIPA with Clean Fusion
A Single Hop DIPA made with our Whānau at Freestyle Hops. Championing the choice as kiwi cone Motueka - here we've used our hand-selected Freestyle Mid-late harvest Motueka, Sunshine Valley low-temp kilned Motueka, and Motueka SubZero Hop Kief™ extract to capture all that bright intensity Mot gives. We then superchargered this DIPA by utilising a Thiol-activated yeast strain in conjunction with a double dose of Mega Motueka™ and a top off of new fandangled Motueka HYPERBOOST™ courtesy of YCH - Tu meke!

Moderately hazed light golden to orange topped with a just off white cap that thins to a swirl.
Nose is pine resin, orange wine gums, pineapple, guava, lychee.
Taste comprises orange pith, mandarin, papaya, pine resin, guava.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spliced with balanced juicy come resinous hop bitterness.
Tidy enough DIPA if a touch on the sweet side for my palate.

Can. A mild to medium haze on this yellowish gold beer, small and short lived pale cream colour head. Light palate, semi dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Slightly thin bodied pale malts, a medium creamy sweetness. Good cooling pine. Tangy and slightly bitter key lime, mildly bitter and mildly spicy. A little floral lime. Light and semi dry finish brings a crispy spicy floral lime finish. Interesting Motueka delivery, for mes woulda benefitted from a richer malt base but, still enjoyed this for it's hard edged Motueka.

Can from House of Cans, Soho. Earthy citrusy aromas, some tropical fruits. Taste is (much better than the aroma) zesty orange, peach ,mango, grapefruit. Rich fruity bittersweet action. Nice.

Malmö October tasting at Palace Hall (14/10/2023) - sweet citrus and tropical fruity aroma and taste, soft sweet malty backing, piney solid bitter hoppy close.

From a 440ml can on 23/4/2023. Pours a murky medium golden with a mall head. The nose features stewed and tropical fruit. Tastes quite sweet, with lots of orange, and mango. Fiishes with a fairly tangy, lightly spicy bitterness. Has a silky, almost slick mouthfeel, with moderate carbonation. Big, intense and very good.
