Small glass served from tap at Mikkeller Bar Viktoriagade. Dark golden, no head, fragile lacing. Appealing smell of juicy malts. Pineapples and orange up front to the taste profile gradually joined by bread and pine needles. Mid-dry bitter ending. Medium bodied. Nice and moreish (Copenhagen 30.04.2015).

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Viktoriagade 8BC, kld., DK-1655 Copenhagen, Denmark. [ As Gigantic Catch 23 ].Clear medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, grapefruit, pine. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a average to long duration, grapefruit, pine, fruity, hopy. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. First beer on the day after a long bus travel to Cph. so just what we did need ;D [20150430]

Tap. Slightly amber with small white head. Aroma is malt, fruit, caramel, hop, grapefruit and pine. Flavour is malt, fruit, hop, caramel, spices, pine, hop and medium bitter.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar, Copenhagen Pours dark orange with a small head. Aroma of grainy malts, caramel, bready notes, grassy and earthy hops, hints of berries. Taste is sweetish, grainy and malty with some bready notes, grass and earthy notes. Finish is grainy, malty and caramely. Interesting, but not my thing.

Draught @ Mikkeller Bar. Aroma is rather mellow with sweet malt, caramel and grainy notes. Flavour has toffee candy, sweet malty notes, resiny hops and woody tones. Also some harsh malt, grain and cereal. Quite delicious.

650 ml bottle. Pours a dark copper/orange color with light head. Aromas of candied oranges, dry toasted malts, and light toffee. Flavors of trail mix with emphasis on tropical fruit, sweet malts, and a bitter almost tea-like astringency.
