Ädelweiss är ett samarbete mellan oss och Närke Kulturbryggeri, 1000 liter bryggdes i Örebro och släpptes bara på fat. 10 000 liter bryggdes sedan här på Oppigårds för att släppas på flaska i oktober. Skumbanan och söt maltighet trängs med friska, gräsiga humletoner, torrhumlad och ofiltrerad. Ädelweiss är vår tolkning av en hopfenweisse.

(Bottle) Golden amber colour, slightly hazy, with a big frothy off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of citrus, orange peel, apples, white bread, hay, floral hops, some yeast, raspberries and a touch of clove. Malty, fruity taste with citrus, mandarin, red apples, crisp-bread, clove, dough, hay, honey and a gentle floral bitterness in the finish. Medium body, mainly dry. Interesting, tasty and well balanced. Quite nice.

Fonefan Deep golden-orange colour with an off-white head. Aroma is yeast, orange, malt, wheat. Flavour is yeast, orange, malt, wheat, fruit, grass. Lively carbonated.

Bottle 500ml. [ As Oppigårds / Närke Ädelweiss (Oppigårds version) ].[ Trade by omhper ]. Clear medium yellow orange color with a large to huge, frothy - creamy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, wheat, moderate yeasty, fruity, light banana, clove notes. Flavor is moderate sweet and light bitter with a long duration, sharp, fruity, yeasty, dry, grass, wheat - yeast. Body is medium, texture is watery - creamy, carbonation is lively. [20150410]

Bottle @ fonefan tasting. Hazy amber with an off-white head. Aroma is sweet, malty, wheaty, fruity and moderate hoppy - grass. Flavor is medium sweet and light bitter. Dry and light bitter finish. Definitely not a German Hefeweizen. 100415

Bottle @ Post-Easter Procrastination, Ulfborg. Pours hazy amber with profuse, airy, rocky off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, fruit, citrus and malt. Intense, bitter aroma of hops, with pronouncenotes of citrus and touches of malt, fruit and yeast. Citric and bitter aftertaste. Definitely not typical for the style but quite good.

Aroma: Fruit, caramel, spices, yeast, some banana.
Body: Medium body and carbonation.
Flavour: Fruit, citrus, hops, some banana, yeast.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Hazy golden/orange with a large white head. Aroma and taste of grass, yeast, light banana, funk and yeast. The finish was bitter and slightly sour. I thought that this one would be better.

Bottle. Pours a hazy orange color with a small off-white head. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy yeasty aroma with hints of banana also some hoppy hints. Fruity wheat malty spicy flavor. Has a fruity wheat malty spicy yeasty banana hoppy finish.

500ml Bottle - Hazy amber in colour. Grapefruit and banana feature in the aroma whilst the taste is grainy and yeasty with notes of peach, banana and toffee. I found this to be a lot more subdued than the draught version that I had.

Bottled, from Systembolaget. Cloudy amber, rich firm head. Concentrated aroma of raspberry jelly, banana and hay. Mid sweet with solid body and rounded mouthfeel. Dough and sugar, hay and raspberry. Long bitter finish.
