Can from HavnensVinOgTobakhus. Pours opaque dark brownish black with huge foamy light brown head. Aroma is malt, caramel, grapefruit, orange, tangerine, gravy, figs, dates, and hints of sweet liquorice. Taste is medium to very sweet, light to medium bitter, light acidic and light salty. Body is oily with light carbonation. Finish is long and mostly sweet with notes of malt, caramel, tiramisu, orange, tangerine, toffee, dried fruit, and mild sweet liquorice. Appearance: +1 for the nice label and -1 for the foam explosion when pouring.

Can from Øltanken, Aabyhøj. Pours black with a light tan head, light lacings. Aroma of roasted malt, caramel, fruity hops, light citrus. Flavor is light bitter, roast malt, cocoa, fruity hops, citrus, light pine, a hint of ash. Medium body, average carbonation, dry and light bitter finish. 161124

Draft. A black beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma has notes of roasted malt, citrus fruits, and hops. The flavor is sweet with notes of roasted malt, citrus fruits, hops, and a bit of chocolate, leading to a bitter finish. I'd like more power on the hops.

Sample at Stepping Stone Aarhus Together Beer Fest 02/11/2024 Roasted malty and robust hoppy aroma and taste, notes of cocoa, pine needless, citrus rinds, medium plus body, dark roasted malty and hoppy finish.
