Big floral notes in this American inspired ale. A little bit of pithy fruit and a little bit of grass come through on the nose, with a lingering bitterness. First brewed in 2012, we bring this easy drinking little beauty back every now and again.

Cask - Piny and skunky aromatic hops. Clear gold with a bubbly white head. Pithy and resinous but still defined and bright. Well done.

Keg at Brewdog Shepard’s bush. Aroma is pithy lemon, wheaty bread grains and mineral. Clear light orange in colour with lasting white thin head. Flavour is composed of earthy lemon, straw and some tart berry. Very dry in the finish, leaves the palate wanting. Some low metallic flavour in the finish. Light English yeast character. Solid refreshing APA.

On tap at The Euston Tap, Euston, London Sunday 30th March 2014 A little flat and devoid of sparkle were my first thoughts, ok it is hoppy, fruity and quite tasty but maybe its getting a little tired, not sure, but whatever it isn’t that great. A6 A3 T5 P3 Ov12 2.9

Cask at The Hanging Bat, and bottle from Beer52. Clear golden body with a thin white head. Good lacing. Aroma of yellow pepper, straw and melon rind. Flavour of cucumber and diluted IPA. Thin body with a watery, slightly oily texture. Soft carbonation. This is far from Tiny Rebel’s best - it’s thin, watery and vegetal.

Tried again at The Salopian, Shrewsbury a month later. Got a little peach melba this time around. Not sure why. Gravity cask @ Pen & Wig, Newport. Apparently the most popular beer at this mini ale fest and I can see why. Very pleasing citrus coming through, for me hinting more at the pineapple end of things. Good malts. Great pint.
