Poured from a 16 oz can dated March 25(?), 2024. Aroma is somewhat malt forward with notes of biscuit, crackers and lightly toasted bread. Moderate hop notes of citrus and pine resin. Hints of tropical fruit and berries. Light alcohol notes. Pours a somewhat clear, golden color with a medium large, thick, fluffy, white head that recedes steadily to a small film that lingers. Medium lacing and faint legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with medium notes of biscuit, crackers and lightly toasted bread with hints of caramel. Medium bitterness and light alcohol notes. Moderately hoppy with notes of grapefruit, tangerine, and pine. Faint notes of berries and passion fruit. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a solid pale ale albeit one that leans more to the malt side of the spectrum. It's a lighter malt body, but fairly prevalent in aroma and flavor; quite different from the hoppy pales I amused to these days. Good background hop notes, but they could be a bit more prevalent. Easy drinking.
