Bottle, 375ml. Spiritous cork. Still, headless, oily, clear deep golden. Rich apple aroma, apple pie, apple jam, grass. Sugary sweet, lightly alcoholic. Sweet flavor, lots of apple. Full body, lightly warming, sweet, still, viscous. Lasting apple driven finish. Nice indeed, not super nice. A bit cloying perhaps.

Fra flaske på Gladmatfestivalen juni-24: klar gylden uten skum. Enorm dybde og saftighet med intens eplesmak kombinert med innslag av bourbon, karamell og vanilje. Saftig salighet fra første stund.

Two samples from bottle at Gladmatfestivalen, Stavanger. Like the \"ordinary\" Kvestad Issider it is an excellent drink, but is it better? Well, if you like distinct oaky notes and a touch of bourbon added to the concentrated apple sweetness, then it is. --- Beer merged from original tick of Issider Bourbon Barrel Aged (Bourbonfatlagret) on 26 Jun 2024 at 20:43 - Score: Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 8 | Flavor - 8 | Texture - 9 | Overall - 8.5.
