Bottle. Rhubarb chestnut colour, slightly murky. Burned rubber, ash, yeast, bread. But it tastes allrigthish. Maybe too sweet, buttery.

Bottle, 5.3%. Hazy red amber, lowish head head. Minerally earthy roast nose, leafy hops, light body, mellow clay, sweet edgy grains, quick finish.

Label claims only 6.1% ABV Very thick cream head over very deep-dark, reddish brown beer. Dark "hot" malts, sweet, melanoidins, bit brushwood, banana and rye. Dry-sweetish. Bit chocolate, melanoidins, banan, dark malts and rye. Sulphur-ish, more bitter finish. Rather well bodied, probably less than the feel; bit chewy. Medium to good carbonation. Decent beer, the "Waldstaude Korn" - kind of primitive rye - is very present. Txs to Stef!

0,33 bottle at home bought at a Merkur supermarket. BB 01.10.2025. red clear color, small white head. smells flowery, toffee, hints of smoke, some ripe fruits, tobacco. nice smell. medium body, soft carbonation. tastes lightly smoky, tobacco, toffee, earthy, caramel, tobacco, light dried fruits. finishes lightly bitter and sweet notes of smoke, toffee and some lightly dried fruits. nice one, this is a pleasant suprise, drinks really nice. good complexity

Clear amber. Medium, off-white head. Sweet, malty, grainy, some sweet-candy-like, light bread. Medium body.

nicht zu verwechseln mit dem Emmerbier. So wurde dieses Bier mit den 3 Urgetreidesorten Emmer, Ur-Dinkel und Waldstaude, angebaut von „Gartners Urgetreide“ in der Wachau. Ich hatte es mir sehr holzig 🪓 und brotig 🍞 vorgestellt, aber es ist eher getreidig mit einem leichten Ton nach Schwarzbrot, wirkt aber nicht übertrieben, sondern bleibt recht spritzig und auch für den einfachen Biertrinker gut zu trinken.
