What do tickers do while on temporary assignment in Africa? They tick African lagers of course. 33cl bottle pours a clear, piss yellow with some sudsy white head that faded fast. The aroma coming from my bottle was all grassy, a little minty, corn, stale white bread. Flavor was a little gross, minty toothpaste, corn juice, slightly metallic. Watery, minty finish.

Another beer for old times’ sake. Pale piss yellow pour with thin white head. Maize-y aroma, weak flavour. Absitively, posolutely no finish, none, niks. Pas op!

Lounge beer, Air France, OR Tambo, Jo’burg. Can. Bight yellow, small white head, good lacing. Aroma of straw and citrus. Taste is citrus and black pepper. Light body (no kidding).

Straw colour. Thin head. Straw malts and spicy hops on the nose. Watery with that same straw and spice on the palate. A water straw-dough finish. Clean example, not as bad as I was expecting, really.

(Bottle 34 cl) Pours a clear golden with a decent, white head. Aroma of brewing cereal, malt and metal. Light in body, sweetish brewing cereal and metal with a short, dry finish. 030508

This is just not very nice. It really doesn’t look like real beer and it definitively don’t taste like real beer. It’s like a watered version of the regular Castle Lager (a thin enough brew itself) with extra carbonation.
