Cask (handpump) @ Cygnet (Trumans), 60 Dace Road, Hackney Wick, Greater London, England E3 2NQ. [ As Trumans Tail Feather ].Clear light to medium yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white head. Aroma is light moderate malty, pale malt, earthy malt, light hoppy, fruity. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration, earthy malt, pale malt, sweet malt, fruity malt notes. Body is medium to light medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is flat. [20140806]

Cask at the Hare and Billet, Blackheath. Gold pour with a white head. Light floral aroma with notes of fruit and pine which eases into the flavour. Not bad.

Cask at the Cygnet - London. Pours clear yellow with a foamy white head. Basic doughy malt aroma. Light sweet flavor, more dough, whitebread, mild lemon, hay. Light bodied with fine carbonation; OK condition. Simple finish, decent balance, subtle lemon rind, slight bitter hay. Pretty boring but inoffensive.

Gravity dispense at the LBA bash, Le Gothique, 24/07/14. Clear pale golden with a decent off white head that retains. Nose is bready malt, citrus peel, green apple, melon. Taste comprises floral notes, light citrics, bready, more green apple and orchard. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. So so GB.

Cask - Fruity with some slight skunky hops. Clear gold with a bubbly head. Pale malts and apple, again a bit young or an odd characteristic of their recipes.

Cask handpull at Cygnet Hackney Wick. Made with the Lemon Drop hop. Clear pale gold lasting white head. Distinctive pale ale with lemony slightly herby flavour. Like lemon balm. Cracking condition. Drying finish. Highly drinkable. Lovely.
