Dark as a moonless night and smoother than Morgan Freeman in a velvet suit, but now with a coffee kick. De La Bean uses added coffee beans and lactose sugar to bring sweet chocolate, caramel and cream flavours to your attention with a full burst of rich coffee.

Cask handpull at The Berry Walmer. Dark brown almost black beer. Lasting beige head. Grainy coffee and chocolate flavourd and mouthfeel. Coffee and chocolate aroma. Some smoothness turning to dry grain in the mouth. A little spicy fruit on the finish. Ok i guess.

Keg at MS HW, 07/12/17. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is mellow roast, toffee, light coffee, brown bread, chocolate biscuit. Taste carries more coffee, vanilla, light roast, cocoa powder, touch of spice. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent enough stout but would have liked more coffee.
