Keg at the Lab, 13/10/17. Murky orange amber with a thin light beige cap. Nose is bitter hops, pine needle, orange pith, dank notes, straw, earthy, a touch of unrefined alcohol. Taste comprises bitter orange, light bready notes, spice, earthy, biscuit, melon, spice, mineral bite, grapefruit, astringent bitterness. Medium bodied with bite, fine carbonation, semi drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Not a great ... sippable but rather harsh and unrefined.

Keg at the Lab. pours a rather unattractive murky orange-brown with a creamy white topping. Woody notes in the nose, some piney spice, citrus peel, pale grains. Medium sweet flavour with more grainy malts, harsh bitterness, leafy astringency, over-brewed tea, grass. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Aggressively harsh finish, lots of bitterness and astringency, more grains. Not The best.

Keg at the brewery.. A murky dull brown orange coloured pour with a a skummy thin beige head. Aroma is cakey vanilla, orange zest, lemon drizzle cake. Flavour is composed of alcohol solvent cakey, dusty grains, orange rind, little harsh.. Palate is semi sweet, resinous hop, moderate carbonation. Little rough round the edges.
