500ml bottle. Quasi black colour with average, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty dark malty and slightly herbal hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, hints of coffee, a touch of juniper berry. Taste is bitter, roasty dark malty and bitter hoppy, notes of dark chocolate and coffee, minimally grassy and herbal hoppiness, a dry touch of juniper berry; bitter minimally chalky finish.

Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is smooth and fairly dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Smooth but bitter dark malts.A fairly harsh bitterness develops, perhaps some of it is the juniper but also harsh floral bitterness. Trace of dark chocolate. More juniper as the beer warms up. Dry bitter finish leaves a long strong bitter linger. A bitter bastard for sure, a little too much so.

Bottle shared in Warsaw. Pours clear reddish brown with a frothy, off-white head. Well toasted bread in the nose, mellow earthy earthy bitterness, orange peel. Light-medium sweet flavour with more light earthy bitterness, toasty toffee, citrus peel. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly earthy bitterness in the finish, some toasty toffee, pine. Nice.

Bottle split at XhithÆd towers, Warsaw HQ, 08/04/17. Extremely dark mahogany brown with a decent tan cap. Nose is light fart, roast malts, cocoa nibs, light pine, charr. Taste comprises bitter roast, spice, cocoa, earthy berry fruit, light pine, tangy trops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Adequate CDA.

Keg at Strafa Piwa pub. Pours black with a brown hue and good slightly off white head. Aroma is dank, a little roast malt, coffee. Taste is chocolate, coffee, molasses but with the Hops bursting through with a sticky pine dankness on the finish. Nice carbonation. A solid CDA
