Cask at the Blue Boar, Leicester. Amber/brown, cloudy with a loose white head. Resinous and sharp grassy notes in the aroma. Taste is primarily vegetal with some chewy malt and bitter leafy hop. Long medicinal finish. Unfortunately this does not work for me at all. Top messy with too many off flavours.

On tap at Twisted Barrel, Coventry, with Dad and Pauline. Saturday 7th October 2017 Murky amber with a sticky white head head. Initially I got a hint of chemical taint on the nose, however to be fair this never materliased on subsequent sips. Really good body, hefty amber with a great flavour, toffee and hops combine wonderfully. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8
