Beer named after the Woolly Monkey. We brew this with British ’Crystal’ malt to give a delicious toffee flavour and a traditional deep-copper colour.

Cask at CBC Giles, 02/12/16. Rich amber meets mahogany brown with a decent beige head that retains well. Nose is biscuit, toffee, fruit cake, light spice. Taste comprises biscuit, candied orange peel, toffee, bread pudding, light spice, malty tones. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter edge. Solid flavoursome ESB.

Hazy deep amber beer with a tidy pale cream coloured head. Slightly crisp palate, semi dry. Fresh malts, a little creamy and a little thin. Medium bitter noble tasting hops bring up the rear. Finishes smooth and dry. A fine and easy drinking bitter.
