330ml bottle. Jet black colour with average, thick, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lasting, tan head. Sweet-ish, chocolately, dark malty and yeasty fruity aroma, notes of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, couverture, blackberry, blueberry, whiffs of liquorice. Taste is roasty, chocolately, dark malty, salty, slightly yeasty fruity, notes of dark chocolate, liquorice, hints of blackberry, blueberry, some coffee. Viscous texture, smooth and soft, silky, minimally cloying palate, fine and soft carbonation. Well matured; balanced, harmonious, surprisingly fresh - good!

Opaque dark brown beer, good darkish tan head. Dark chocolate covered Malteasers nose. Airy palate, semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Fluffy and tangy dark malts. Little dark fruits. A very mild coffee bitterness underneath. Light semi dry finish. Nothing wrong with this but it is an Impy like many many others.
