Cask at the Old Manor (JDW), Bracknell. A reddish amber pour with a ring of white head that laces the glass nicely; slightly spicy rye-like aroma; sweet caramel taste with a herbal woody bitterness; then some spicy malts to finish. Satisfying.

Cask at the lower red lion St Albans. A mid amber coloured pour with a lasting sticky off white head. Aroma is brown sugars, toffee, hints of maple and candied cola cubes. Some grassy hops on the nose as well. Flavour is composed of burnt brown sugars, toffee, jammy fruits, hedgerow hop. Firm bitterness. Palate is medium sweet, sticky, moderate condition. Ok.
