At the Greyhound (JDW), Bridport 11/7/2016. Amber with a slight, off-white, head. Malty bitter, with plenty of caramel, stale bread, a hint of fruit and moderately bitter finish. Not as beer I would rush to drink again.

Cask @ Bar Fringe, Manchester. Dark-copper coloured with a small creamy head. Has bittered chocolates in its nose and some in its taste, but is mainly a sweetened bitter here.

Cask @ South Western Arms, Southamton. Slightly unclear amber body with a small off white head. Aroma is mostly caramel malt. Flavor is sweet caramel malt, some toast and biscuit, moderate bitterness. Medium body and caramel malt in aftertaste as well. Drinkable but a bit one-dimensional.

Bottle at home, 29/12/15. Clear golden amber with a big ole egg shell white covering of bubbles. Nose is light caramel, bread, straw, faint metallic nip. Taste comprises tarte berry fruit, straw, fruit cake, red berry, toasted brown sugar. Medium bodied, prickly carbonation, semi drying close. Not great ... A touch infected I imagine.
