Cask at the Ale House, Reading. Amber with a thin white head; aroma of apples and berry fruit; light berry fruit taste - almost strawberry - and a pleasant earthy bitterness. A very spring-like beer, just the thing for January.

Cask at the Bootlegger, High Wycombe, 22/12/15. Clear amber golden with a well appointed off white covering. Nose is caramel, candied fruit bar, mellow fruit vibes, hint of vanilla. Taste comprises caramel wafer, airy malt, mellow fruit, candy bar, mellow hop notes. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, semi drying close with subtle hop bitterness shining through. Nice sessionable hoppy amber.

Cask, handpump at the St Aldates Tavern, Saturday 28th November 2015 Pours copper in colour, clear as a bell with a white head, a good looker. A fairly safe fruity bitter, quite traditional, tasty a little leafy and a bit earthy if a tad safe. Described as a Crystal Rye Ale, I must tell Gazza to look out for this he’d love it :-) A5 A5 T6 P3 Ov13 3.2
