Gravity dispense at London Drinker BF ’15, day 2, 12/03/15. Clear golden amber with a decent off white covering. Nose is bitter hops, earthy notes, pine, citric peel, straw, bitter orange. Taste comprises earthy hops, straw, light smoke tones, bitter citric rinds, dank notes, ripe melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a bitter finale. Decent.

Cask. Shakespeares, Sheffield. Hazy, slightly odd grey gold. Bubbly, thick, white head. Big hop hit to this. Lots of peach. Pineapple. Orange rind. Taste is crisp bitter. Fairly oily. Full body. Finishes long, oily bitter. Very fresh hop character. Good stuff. Full on bitter, mind you.

Cask at The Shoulder of Mutton, Wantage, Oxon, Tuesday 3rd February 2015 Golden in colour, good clarity, the trio of C hops more than make themselves shown. Nice citrus bite in mouth, hops tickling the tongue, plenty of happy burps, however for all of the positives I still felt a little underwhelmed and next to the Hopcraft Rodgering this was found wanting.
