Cask at the brewpub. It pours deep red-amber with a small white head. The nose is fragrant, fresh, perfumed, floral, orange peel, tangerine, candy and caramel. The taste is bitter-sweet, wood, leather, resin, brown bread, spice, orange peel and mild astringency with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. I really like the aroma, but the taste is a bit flat.

Keg at the White Hart - London. Dry-hopped version. Pours clear gold with a creamy white head. Strong aroma that smacks of Brett, with slight grass, melon and tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with more melon, some mango, citrus, mild grassy bitterness, faint funk. Medium bodied with average to lively carbonation. Pretty dry on the finish with more melon, orange rind, dry bread, grass, pale grains. Not bad.

Cask at the brewpub. Mostly clear reddy / orange coloured pour with a small loose off white head. Aroma is nice tangy orange, candied toffee Apple, Belgian yeast, and a little rubber note. Flavour is composed of unrefined sugars, candied orange, little tangy orange. Bitterness is firm and a bit like bitter lemon. Belgian yeast character is there but fairly mellow. Palate is semi sweet, moderate carbonation. Little hot alcohol in the finish. OK but but the balance is a bit off and the finish could be drier.

Cask at the White Hart, Whitechapel, 29/01/15. Lightly hazed copper orange with a moderate off white covering. Nose is pale malts, tangerine, straw, spice, floral notes, mandarin. Taste comprises perfumed notes, spice, satsumas, orange peel, lemon rind, bread dough. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, clove and light spice in the finish. Decent enough Belgian-esque offering.
