Keg at the brewery, 17/01/15. Extremely dark chestnut brown with a solid light beige top. Nose is biscuit, brown sugar, toffee, dark fruits, light perfume. Taste comprises biscuit malt, floral notes, dark fruit rinds, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light bitterings. Ok inoffensive brown, nothing to bring me rushing back mind.

Keg at the brewery. Clear brown / copper coloured pour with a lasting thin cream head. Aroma is mineral, oyster, unrefined sugars, twigs, flavour is crisp chalky water profile, little brown sugars nutty malts, little faint dried fruits, little esters. Palate is light, very dry, highish carbonation and chalky on the tongue. Some lace on the glass. Little lingering brown sugar and liquorice. OK.

Keg at the brewery. Pours red-brown with a frothy off-white head. The nose holds lightly toasted bread, ripe fruits, berries, caramel. Light to medium sweet flavor with rounded brown bread, light caramel, low bitterness, more berries. Light bodied with average carbonation. Balanced finish, more brown bread, faint cocoa, brown sugar, dried fruits. Some doughy bread. Nicely balanced and very drinkable.
