Draft at the brewery. Pours hazy gold with a tight, creamy head. Robust coffee in the aroma with undertones of citrus. Medium sweet flavor with pale bread sugars, light bitter coffee grounds, some orange rind. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation and massaging texture. Well balanced to finish with great coffee integration, lots of juicy citrus, subtle earthy bitterness. Excellent.

Keg at the brewery. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and dry. Fine minerally carbonation. A brief flash of estery.sweetness. Mild orange. Smooth mellow coffee, slightly earthy but also with traces of chocolate and caramel. Whisper of candy fruits before a fruity coffee finish. Very nice.

Keg at Partyzan, 01/11/14. Hazed orange amber with a decent eggshell white covering. Nose is big coffee grinds, citric peel, tangerine, grapefruit, light spice. Taste comprises big coffee vibes, grapefruit, passionfruit, mandarin, tangerine, light pine. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a hop linger and more coffee rubs. Great stuff, lots of coffee but well balanced with the base IPA feel, probably the best coffee IPA I’ve had!
