Keg at the brewery. Opaque dark brown beer, good tan head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Fine minerally crispness. Mild dark malts play second fiddle to rich earthy coffee. Lesser tangy dark fruits provide some contrast. Finishes semi dry. Tasty if somewhat one dimensional.

Keg at Partizan, 20/09/14. Pitch black with a good sized tan covering. Nose carries a big coffee blast, light roast, cocoa nibs, dark toffee. Taste comprises earthy coffee grinds, spice, dark fruit notes, cocoa, sweet licks, earthy roast. Medium + body, fine carbonation, nice coffee roast in the close. Decent coffee lead impy.

Draft at the brewery. Pours rich brown-black with a thick, tan cream head. Big coffee aroma with moderate roasted malts, cocoa. Medium to big sweet flavor with lots of lightly acidic coffee, fresh grounds, scorched earth, some ripened dark fruits, burnt wood. Full bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming to finish with rich chocolate, earthy bitterness, more burnt wood, mild bittersweet baking cocoa, lingering robust coffee. The coffee aspect is prominent but the beer is well balanced overall. Very good.
