Bottle at Leightons, thanks to he, 02/09/14. Hazed reddish amber with a moderate light beige covering that dissipates somewhat then retains. Nose is caramel, rich fruit tones, caramel malt, bitter orange, red grapefruit. Taste comprises red berry pangs, rhubarb, light citrics, hint of vanilla, caramel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with light hop bitterness. Decent enough stuff, I’d say this was a lightly hopped ’amber’ trying to escape from the constraints of a ’bitter’ !

Bottle shared at Leightons house. Hazed orange light amber coloured pour with a thin lasting off white head. Aroma is sweet orange sweets, light floral notes. Surbery nose in the nose. Flavour is orange serbery, light biscuit, berry and some citrus. Palate is light body and highish carbonation. Nice dry finish, pretty refreshing.
