Another London beerio thanks to LKS at his gaff, 02/09/14. Light black with a well appointed tan covering. Nose is light roastings, cocoa powder, spice, mineral vibes, dark fruit, plummy tones. Taste comprises earthy roast, mellow dark fruit, chocolate, hint of vanilla. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with light prickle, sweet roastings at the curtain call. Decent enough porter.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours darkest brown with a thick tan head. The nose is cocoa, caramel, cola, candy, raisin and dried fruits. The taste is bitter-sweet, cherry cola, fruit cake, raisin, cocoa, light acidity and light metallic with a dry finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Pretty alreet. Another solid brew from these guys.

Bottle shared in London - picked up at the Lab. Pours deep brown with a thick, frothy beige head. The aroma has some chalky cocoa, light roast, burnt wood. Light to medium sweet flavor with torched cereal, baking cocoa, light meat, dried berries. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Finishes with dry, lightly dusty cocoa, dry cherry, chalky earth, wood. Not bad.
