Keg at London Fields Taproom, 27/03/14. Golden amber with a well appointed off white head that retains well, carbonation well evident. Nose is light caramel, bread dough, touch of spice, toffee apple, summer fruit, orange peel. Taste comprises soft caramel tones, biscuit notes, fruit loaf, bread dough, dates, prunes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a little prickle enhancing the drinkability to good effect. A decent and refreshing marzen.

Keg at the brewery taproom - London. Pours clear, bright gold with a creamy top. Pleasant aroma of ripe berries, faint apple and bready malts. Light-medium sweetflavor with sturdy, lightly toasted bready malt character, nips of toffee, berries, dates. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet, bready malts to finish with subtle, dry caramel and toffee, little to no bitterness, golden raisins, faint plum. Very tasty, easy-drinking marzen.
